Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has given employment notification for the recruitment of 85 Foreman (Non Executive) and Senior Engineer (Executive) vacancies in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical departments. Eligible candidates may apply online from 16-05-2014 by 11.00 hrs to 04-06-2014 by 18.00 hrs and send hard copy of applications on or before 19-06-2014. Note: Candidates who have applied against the earlier advertisement no GAIL/OPEN/SE (CHEM)/1/2013 for the post of Senior Engineer (Chemical) need not apply again for the same post.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 32 years for Post 1 and 30 years for Post 2 as on 04-06-2014. The upper age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Post 1/ 05 years for Post 2 in case of PWD General, 13 years for Post 1/ 08 years for Post 2 in case of PWD OBC and 15 years for Post 1/ 10 years for Post 2 in case of PWD SC/ ST candidates.

Qualification: Candidates must possess Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST & PWD candidates) for Post 1 and Bachelor Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ ST & PWD candidates) for Post 2 and have relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Skill Test (Trade Test) and/ or Interview for Post 1 and Group Discussions and/ or Interview for Post 2.

Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.50/- for Post 1 and Rs.200/- for Post 2 in case of General and OBC categories in the form of Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at New Delhi. Candidates should write candidate name, post applied for and application registration number on back side of demand draft. No Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

After applying online, take print out of online application and send it along with duly signed photograph affixed on application, demand draft and true copies of testimonials/ documents mentioned in notification, in a sealed envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of _______” [Post, Regn No and Category: UR/ SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ PWD as the case may be], send by ordinary post addressed to Deputy/ Senior Manager (HRD), GAIL (India) Limited, GAIL Bhawan, 16, Bhikaiji Cama Place, R K Puram, New Delhi 110066 on or before 19-06-2014.
